Lewis Hamilton issues cheeky Instagram post aimed at Fernando Alonso

Lewis Hamilton has thanked his team and fans for their efforts at the Belgian Grand Prix on Instagram, and also used the post to take a cheeky swipe at old foe Fernando Alonso.
The two drivers have an astonishing nine world titles between them with Hamilton holding the joint-record of seven with Michael Schumacher, another of Fernando’s old rivals.
Indeed, Hamilton and Alonso haven’t always seen eye-to-eye over the years and, though things have mellowed compared to 2007, it’s clear that, when opportunity presents itself, there’s still a bit of needle there.
That’s what we saw in Belgium, then, with Fernando saying Lewis can only drive when he is out in front in the best car after the two collided on lap one at Spa, with Hamilton later saying that he did not want to talk to Alonso about the incident after the clash, once he’d heard what the Alpine driver had said.
Of course, the heat of the moment can do things to drivers and hopefully things will be a bit calmer by the time we get to Zandvoort this weekend, with Hamilton evidently looking to make the situation a more light-hearted one.
