Mbappe, Vinicius Jr, Traore: FIFA 23's fastest players predicted

The early indications are that pace is once again going to be a massive factor in the latest version of FIFA.

As in the real-life game, technique, reading of the game and strength are ingredients which make up some of the most effective players.

You can get a striker who only rates as 70 on pace, but when you press shoot the ball hits the target with unerring accuracy. Likewise, you can have a wing-back who is in the 90s for pace and regularly gets into good crossing positions, only to frequently waste said opportunities.

However, many FUT fans still go for quick players who can initiate and snuff out counter-attacks with raw speed.

EA will frequently change things in order to keep up to date with developments in the real-life game. However, this is the current prediction for FIFA 2023’s 10 fastest players, selected by Dexerto.

10. Daniel James (Leeds United)

The Leeds United winger clocks in at number 10 with 94. His speed stretches defences and his willingness to work back provides support for his full-back.

9. Georges Nkoudou (Besiktas)

The former Tottenham winger also rates at 94.

8. Ismaila Sarr (Watford)

Also on 94 is Sarr, who stood out in Watford’s abortive relegation fight and is coveted by many top flight clubs for his pace and creativity.

7. Gerrit Holtmann (VfL Bochum)

Another on 94 is yet another winger in Holtmann.

6. Moussa Diaby (Bayer Leverkusen)

Diaby has been coveted by Newcastle United, among others, this summer and is rated at 95. This makes him a dangerous attacking option when added to his skill on the ball and eye for goal.

5. Achraf Hakimi (PSG)

The Madrid-born Moroccan international is another 95. This, along with his dribbling skills, makes him an exciting attacking full-back who can recover quickly.

4. Vinicius Junior (Real Madrid)

Rated at 96 for pace, Vini Jr is a world-class talent who can score and create. Lightning quick, he is one of the most exciting players around and he now has greater awareness to go with his speed and dribbling skills. His pace, strength and crossing will make him a formidable asset in FIFA 23.

3. Alphonso Davies (Bayern Munich)

The Canadian winger or full-back is rapid and his dribbling skills make him an exciting player to watch and a useful covering player in defence. Rated at 96.

2. Adama Traore (Wolves)

Predicted 96 for pace, Traore is strong and skilful. He is exciting to watch, however, inconsistency with his final ball can be frustrating. Both in the game and in real life!

1. Kylian Mbappe (PSG)

Predicted 96 for pace, Mbappe‘s searing speed is just one quality which had Real Madrid ready to break the bank to sign him. His dribbling and finishing make him one of the world’s most effective and exciting strikers and surely one of the top picks for FIFA 23.

So there you have it. If you need an injection of pace, then these are the players to provide it.
