Hogwarts Legacy Collector's Edition: Awesome unboxing reveals what's inside

The Hogwarts Legacy Collector’s Edition has been revealed and a new unboxing video shows exactly what is inside!

The new release from Portkey Games is one of the most anticipated new releases of the decade.

We haven’t had a proper Harry Potter game in years and Hogwarts Legacy is going to be a truly next-generation experience.

The open-world RPG is going to hand players the keys to Hogwarts, and you’ll get a huge amount of freedom to explore the world.

Not only will you be exploring Hogwarts, but you’ll also get the chance to go around iconic locations such as Hogsmeade, Diagon Alley and the Forbidden Forest.

The Collector’s Edition is going to be an expensive acquisition, with a community manager confirming that it will cost $300 in the US. That would mean it costs around £250 in the UK.

We haven’t got an official price for the Collector’s Edition yet but we’ll let you know as soon as it’s released.

Hogwarts Legacy Collector’s Edition Unboxing

The unboxing shows off the custom artwork that’s included on the outside of the overall box.

You’ll also get a steel case with the physical copy of the game included, on both PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, although that won’t be the case on PC.

You’ll also get an “ancient” magic wand that comes with a book mapping out Hogwarts. The map includes the black lake, the Forbidden Forest and Hogsmeade. The cover and spine of the book show the ancient magic logo, with a “mysterious figure”.

The book looks aged and has the joint purpose of allowing the ancient wand to float above it when it’s plugged on, making it look truly magical.

That’s everything that’s included within the Collector’s Edition of Hogwarts Legacy and pre-orders will begin on August 25th for any Muggles who want to get their hands on this version of the game.

There will also be a Digital Deluxe edition that comes along with the Standard Edition.

Pre-ordering the former edition means that players will get three days early access, along with the Dark Arts Pack.

That will feature a cosmetic set, a Thestral Mount and the Dark Arts Battle Arena.
